​SUMMER LESSONS

H-Town Squares offers a series of lessons that cover the 68 mainstream movements required to become a certified mainstream square dancer. The lesson series end with the H-Town Squares Graduation Dance - a fabulously fun night to celebrate our graduates! New lessons start in June!

The lessons progress through complicated movements that follow a standard curriculum. For this reason, once a commitment has been made, please make every effort to attend. The progress of the entire square depends upon individual members being present and prepared. Lesson Takers are our new students and Angels are our experienced dancers that come to assist in squares. It is important for everyone to be there as much as possible. ​

Annual Membership for Lesson Takers
New student member: $130 per student
New married parent couple: $130 per parent couple

Annual Membership for Returning Members
New student member: $70 per student
New married parent couple: $40 per parent couple
​
Annual Membership begins in June and runs through May. It includes the price of summer lessons and name tags for new members, as well as the insurance per member that H-Town Squares is required to pay to the parent organization. If payment is a hardship for you, please email us at infohtownsquaredance@gmail.com regarding splitting the fee into separate payments. Admission will not be required at each dance that new or returning members attend during lessons (June - August). Starting in September, all dancers are required to pay admission ($5 per dance for registered members; $10 for guests from other clubs; $20 family max) for dances.

To register, check out the Membership page. Upon registering, you will be added to the email list to receive further details pertaining to the location. Payment is due by the night of the 2nd lesson. Cash, check, or online payment (through "Givebutter") is accepted.
