H-Town Squares

 

CLUB VISION

​

We seek to glorify Christ first and foremost, providing a fun, safe activity that facilitates friendship and fellowship for our teens and young adults. 

 

Interested in square dancing?  This June is the perfect time to jump in!

​

H-Town Squares offers a series of lessons that covers the 68 mainstream movements required to become a certified Mainstream Square Dancer.  The lesson series end with the H-Town Squares Graduation Dance - a fabulously fun night to celebrate our graduates!

​

The lessons progress through complicated movements that follow a standard curriculum.  For this reason, once a commitment has been made, please make every effort to attend.  The progress of the entire square depends upon individual members being present and prepared.  Grand Squares lessons are for anyone 13- 19 and also parent couples. Lesson Takers are our new students and Angels are our experienced dancers that come to assist in squares. It is important for everyone to be there as much as possible.

Pricing 

​

Payment is due at the June 7th or 29th dance, cash or check only please.  The following membership information pertains to Grand Squares dancers; not Market Street Squares.

 

New member (taking lessons):  $120 per person.  New name tag *is* included, as well as insurance.

 

Returning member:  $60 per person.  Insurance included; name tag *not* included.  If you'd like a new "H-Town Squares" name tag, feel free to order, though it's not required. Starting in September dances will be $5.

Market Street membership is $30 for the year and starting in September dancers pay $5 a night for the dance.
